We develop niche projects outside the funded or popular artistic enterprises. We are independent and foster outside, infertile, seemingly sterile environments and situations to generate art, including publications, and performances to celebrate barren economies, ecologies, margins, and feminisms, We do not fund but will support funding applications, we will appear but not be found, for we are moveable and dependent on art that develops through encounters. We drift to act as a rumour in art. We are interested in how art acts to give voice, to act ‘in’ and ‘with’ the overlooked. The poetic and difficult fissures between people, seasons, cycles, groups, and areas often dismissed as without value. ‘barren’ searches to uncover and draw out value.
